Rwanda - The Bradt Travel Guide

RUGO was delighted to be associated with the launch of a travel guide to Rwanda published by Bradt Travel Guides and written by Philip Briggs and Janice Booth. The book provides a much needed guide to "getting around Rwanda and seeing the beauty of the country as well as the sorrow". The book looks at "The Land of a Thousand Hills" as a safe welcoming destination following the "six years of determined repair and reconstruction" and also seeks to offer travellers an insight into Rwandan history, culture, and aspirations.

The participants at the launch were addressed by Hilary Bradt, Rosemary Museminali - the Rwandan Ambassador and by Janice Booth the co-author of the guide. The launch also included a graceful display of Rwandan dance including audience participation.
