Fantastic Prelude

On 11 December last year we went to a concert called the Prelude Concert. It was organised by RUGO. The band was also called Prelude. Prelude is a fantastic band. Their songs are excellent and they had lovely voices. I think Prelude should be on TV because their songs are so good and everybody enjoyed them and would like to see them again. The songs were about love and friendship. I think they were having lots of fun and they were very good to the children. They sang and danced with us. The children also got autographs.

This concert was for a good cause. The money raised was going to be used for the building of a school in Rwanda. Apart from Prelude there were also children who performed a Rwanda dance. Two men also sang in kinyarwanda beautifully. Peter Dodds who sang for Rwanda before also sang this time and we enjoyed that.

At the end of the concert there were things for auction including pictures and art from Rwanda. Before we were given free CDs from the band and all the children were very happy. It was my first time to go to a live concert and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you Prelude. Donna Kalemera (9yrs)
