Visit of Seraphine Bizimungu

In May a group of RUGO ladies had the opportunity for a discussion with the first lady of Rwanda Mrs Seraphine Bizimungu.

She was in London in transit from a conference in Canada where she participated in a fund-raising walk for Rwanda.

The RUGO ladies briefed the first lady on the work of RUGO and handed over copies of the previous newsletter to pass on to His Excellency the President.

In return the first lady talked at length about her interest in the plight of women in Rwanda.
